2026 SPRING CLASSIC IN LEWISTON

Monday, May 25, 2026 8:42 AM | Jack Klauschie Jr (Administrator)

The Spring Classic is about great roads and camping.

Join us June 12-14 at the Old Lewiston Bridge RV Park, 8460 Rush Creek Road, CA 96052. RCB has reserved the group campground. The campground guest rate is $35 per night per tent. Check in at the campground office when you arrive, say you are with RCB, and pay your fee. Proceed to the group site and claim your spot.

There is a rumor the ride to the campground will involve Hwy 36, Wildwood Road and Hwy 3. If you want to join us for the ride to the campground on Friday, we will be leaving from Susie's at 9 am. Be sure to start with a full tank of gas as the first gas stop will be in Red Bluff.

You are on your own for meals and libations. Dinners and drinks are available a short walk away at the Moose Lodge for Moose members, or the Lewiston Hotel Bar & Grill, 125 Deadwood Road Lewiston CA which is open 3-9:30 - kitchen closes at 8:00. If you want to go full camping mode and you have a vacuum packer at home, we suggest vacuum packing a home cooked meal and warming it sous vide style (reheat in hot water) at the campground.

If you have questions for the campground, call 530-778-3894 (Ask for Conor)

If you are a RCB member please sign up on the Forum, so we have an approximate headcount. Please check the web site for GPS routes which we suggest you download before you leave.

If you want to join us for the ride to the campground on Friday, we will be leaving from Susie's at 9 am. Be sure to start with a full tank of gas as the first gas stop will be in Red Bluff.

Guests are welcome of course.

Good points from the XO. For those more adventurous and want to stay on pavement there are The Forks of the Salmon and Forest Service 1, if you know where to find the end points. There is an abundance of dirt roads close by for those willing to build their own GS challenge.
